2024 Bee School

We will be holding a beginner’s beekeeping class on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Ohio State Extension Operations. The class is sponsored by the Ohio State University Extension Noble County and our club. There will be a 5-hour classroom (9 am to 2 pm).

Other sessions are as follows:

• April – On-site Inspection at the Apiary
• June – On-site Hive Management for Bee Expansion & Honey Production
• August – Varroa Management and Other Diseases
• September – Preparation for Winter

Also, there will be electronic mentoring from the instructors. The cost for this is $40.00 which includes a one-year membership to the Guernsey Noble Beekeepers and the Ohio State Beekeepers.
